Details1 knitting kit includes 5 skeins of Worsted weight Shetland and/or Gotland yarn and a knitting pattern.
This is a fun quick to knit vest pattern and can be modified to fit in any wardrobe. It begins at the lower back and knitted to the shoulders, then divided into the two front panels knitted to the bottom edge. The collar and inner edges are then picked up and knitted. The only seams are the two side seams under the arm holes. The two stitch patters are the Berries and Lace stitch and the Moss stitch with 3 colors. Both very easy to do and memorize.
You have your choice of colors combining natural colors (the example) or a combination of hand dyed and natural. A couple of the colors are Gotland worsted that is very soft and works well with this sweater.
Finished Chest Sizes: 38 inches, 45 inches, 52 inches.
The vest is knitted using #9 needles for the body and #8 circular for the inner edge. You can substitute #9 circular for the edge as well. The kite will make all 3 sizes with enough yarn left for a matching hat.
