  • Details
Yarn for the perfect cold weather socks!
300 yards, 6.85 ounces. Size 5-8 needles. 80% Shetland Wool/20% nylon. From sheep raised in our hilltop pastures here in Central Virginia. This is a worsted yarn spun for additional strength for hard wearing garments like boot socks. A yarn that has a soft lofty handle that softens even more as it is knitted, with a touch of lanolin remaining. Milled here in Virginia at Central Virginia Fiber Mill. Purchasing this yarn will support two women owned small businesses. A special yarn for your hand knits such as hats, scarves, shawls and vests.

With this yarn, will enjoy the process of knitting as much as the quality of your finished knitwear. Now isn't that why we hand knit?
